Description
I'm uploading all of the work I've done for the Sanderson team over the last year.ΒThe concept poster created for Brandon as he develops his new series. I learned a lot working on this one. Theres a lot going on here but it was a lot of fun to work on. You can find the final on Brandon's social pages and sites.
Also, my facebook page is very active again. Please give a follow if you'd like some in-between work.

I'm curious about the second character from the left (the cowgirl holding a bazooka).

I love this painting, it's so full of movement! I especially like the big burning guy (golem/elemental/demon/thing), and his extremely manly ponytail. That ponytail is really a great design idea The only thing that bothers me a bit is the wizard's mantle. Half of it is moving like everything else on the picture, but the other half is just completely still, as if the cloth strips were glued on the ground.
But again, it's a very beautiful picture, and it makes me want to read that book

Excellent values, composition, palette. Only critiques a) I can't quite read the structure in the center background - I can't work out if it's 4 separate pillars or two slabs that are being viewed at an oblique angle with light glinting off chamfered edges. b) The tartan texture is a bit one-dimensional.

Thanks! Yeah those shapes weren't really planned well past the drawing stage, I admit. It was something that would be covered by the title and in wanting to avoid it didn't correct it. Β Thanks for the critique.

I'm a fan yeah. I read a rather large amount and his books are a lot of fun. Its how I got picked up for work. I did some fan art from his books and got noticed from it a few years ago.
