Transformers: IGNITION - Megatron (Robot Mode)Megatron is one of the few characters that will come to Earth yet retain his Cybertronian form. Taking on a disguise is beneath him, as when he makes his appearance known, he wants everyone to KNOW it's Megatron they are facing, and not hidden in some crusty Earth machine's visage.
Not to say he can't get a new form down the road, but for now, he's stays like this

This is the best "backpack kibble" I have ever seen. It just works -- feels like transformy bits, but lends a sense of Power, rather than backheaviness. Huzzah.

I'm a little bogged down at the moment, unfortunately. Lots of comic related stuff in the works so I don't fall behind like before. Might open up for a few commissions down the road, but for now I gotta keep pluggin' away at my backlog, lol

Oh my Primus! Look at this monster! He's brilliantly awesome looking! So his character is kind of similiar to that of TFP Megatron? Despises humans and loathes Starscream but still retains a use for him? That kind of thing. Damn Megatron is such a badass looking character! Good job.

Glad ya like it! My goal is, even though there is a heavy G1 "base" at its core, this is NOT just a G1 comic and is supposed to be a celebration of Transformers as a whole so there will be lots of things from all the series squished together into this. Showing off Slipstream is basically my way of saying "hey, this isn't just G1, lots of characters from later series will show up, just wait!"

Now that you mention characters appearing from all across the continuities, will Hot Shot or even Rodimus (Hot Rod either) make an appearance? Hell even Elita One or even Arcee? So many questions! Goddamnit, sorry! I just gotta know!

Hot Rod = yes, will be a bit, but there's a story for him that ties a lot into when I get into backstory of Cybertron stuff.
Hot Shot = yes, might not be a major character, but I do want to use him as he is unique enough. Might make his vehicle mode look a little closer to movie Bumblebee's camaro seeing as Bumblebee is sticking with a compact car
Arcee = Eventually as well, she will be coming to Earth when the ranks expand just like Hot Rod and Hot Shot. No big plans, but I do want to use her, I'm a big fan of the animated movie characters
