Drawing of the first boss battle from metroid fusion ''Arachnus''.

Scince it's the first boss battle, this encounter can be a bit easy but sets the mood for what king of enemies you will be facing, samus encountered one smaller in metroid 2.
I really don't know why it's called Arachnus, doesn't resemble a spider at all, it looks more like a turtle, it has strong arms and legs with sharp claws, spits fire, has a shell that protects it from behind, and can roll using it.........you know this is like if BOWSER made it into a metroid game, so if you ever wondered how would be a battle agaist samus and bowser something like this would happen.

Gotta admit I almost threw the towel on this drawing several times, I had many troubles with the background the colors, textures, poses, samus, almost everything, I ended redrawing samus twice, but I managed to come out with a descent result I think.
