Reworked Rozen, cuz I feel like it. His previous design didn't catch my interest that much;
And now he looks like a goddamn grim reaper(which is perfect anyway)

The only lore Rozen retained was being imprisoned by the Pale King, because he caught the reaper stalking around his kingdom, collecting the souls of those who have fallen beneath his scythe. He was later on set free by Luxanna(when she accompanied Sinclair who wanted to have a "word" with the Pale King.)

So, gonna give some backstory moments here because good golly I've given him quite a lore.

- Rozen is a Scion from an aristocratic family known as Crucibia. He hails from a faraway kingdom known as Ecclesium, a corrupted land with twisted religion. Although it was never like that before, it was once a peaceful kingdom, a proud nation. It had its own monarchy, a substantial population, and a thriving economy, all of it started to falter when Rozen's father, King Culgan, became it's current ruler.
- During his childhood, almost all of the bugs neglected Rozen due to his mercurial behavior and violent tendencies. The only ones who had his support and would tolerate him were his mother, the Queen and a knight named Rialto who used to live in the Queen's Garden in Hallownest but was captured by his father's soldiers and becomes his personal servant.
- At a very young age, Rozen usually reads the ancient manuscripts he "borrowed" from his father's chamber to which it contained dark magic, but he only does so when his parents aren't around. Dark magic is forbidden in the kingdom, but his father's a hypocrite for using it and trying to achieve immortality. Rialto was always there to cover up for him incase his parents would return and try to ask where he is.
- When he was near his adolescence, his mother died from an incurable disease(which seemed to worsen his father's mental state) and at that point, Rozen started abducting his own citizen and experiments on them to try to do the same thing his father was secretly planning, achieving immortality, however if he gets bored of his victims, he tortures them for his own cruel delight.
- The cause of his death was execution, when an assassin from another kingdom tried to kill Rozen during his coronation, Rialto got in the way, protecting his prince and died, taking the life of the assassin along with him. Seeing as Rialto was one of the bugs who were loyal to him, he immediately revives him on the spot. He has mastered his own revival spell yet he exposed himself to his people, earning their disapproval and pure disgust, not even his own father helped. Like the hypocrite he is, Culgan plays along and sentenced his own son to be executed.
- After he was hung to death, King Culgan demanded the soldiers to throw his body to a pit of corpses. As they left, the newly revived Rialto fetched his body and retreated somewhere private, hoping Rozen kept his word and to that, his resurrection spell would also work on himself... to which it did. Although at the end of his life, Rozen was beset by a number of emotions; fear, disappointment, indignation, but most of all, anger. He felt anger for those who ever so neglected him and further corrupted his nation, anger for his father's betrayal and heartlessness, and anger for himself in failing to uphold his duty as the Scion. He sets off to kill his own father as revenge. Now the kingdom of Ecclessium is nothing more but a place of reanimated corpses, decadence and chaos happening all around, it's survivors retreated to the pinacotheca, where they would live the rest of their miserable lives hiding from the horrors of their own kingdom..

-- Rozen is now a revenant as others may call it. He reaps the souls out of other bugs for his insatiable hunger. He is visually terrifying, unnervingly soft-spoken, and cruel in an unrepentant way, he takes sadistic joy in tormenting his victims, even before and after his death.
-- Surprisingly, despite his murderous behavior, he has a weakness for women and would usually respect them, unless of course if they provoke him, to which Sephra has done when she "visited" his kingdom before and attacked him as her way of judgement. Unfortunately, she lost, seeing as Rozen overpowers her and she was forced to flee back to Hallownest.
-- Ever since his death, Rozen does not appear to be in pain, or suffer trauma from his fate anymore. It should also be noted that he is absolutely insane; and he no longer cares about his unlife, just as long as there are souls to feast on.

//Rialto belongs to my buddy , we're both developing their stories so far. And he's likely the only bug who tolerates his sire's twisted nature. Couldn't help myself, I wanted to draw yo bug, he has an amazing design tbh x'D also... someone save Little Ghost from this madman... madbug.
