Description
Temori is a fictional planet located in the Peradis Star System, 40 lightyears from the Solar System. It is the second planet in its planetary system, and takes 2.4 Earth years to orbit its parent star. It is slightly smaller than the Earth, at 7,259 miles wide at the equator. It's gravity is also less, being 0.89 Gs. It's atmosphere is composed of nitrogen and oxygen gas, much like Earth's. However, it is slightly thinner, at 94% that of Earth's. It takes 21 hours to rotate around its axis. 58% of it's surface is covered with a large amount of water in the form of oceans, seas and ice sheets. It's average temperature is a cozy 67 degrees Fahrenheit.Since Temori has no axial tilt, it does not have seasons which means that conditions are consistent in a given location all year long. The aliens here therefore have no mating seasons based on a yearly cycle. However, they might use cues from Temori's moon, Baruna, for mating purposes.
Cha, Kakzul and Nornvov are the 3 continents of Temori. Birovad and Zeed are two major peninsulas.

As old as it this is, I do feel the need to drop a science here for the sake of learning. How would this planet have a moon (which I'm assuming is a large one given the effects you said it had on ground based life) and at the same time have no axial tilt? A lack of a tilt is nearly impossible, as planet formation theory states that plants collide in order to grow in size and this will eventually effect their axial tilt. Now, this brings me to the point about the moon. A large moon relative to the size of the planet usually means that a collision occurred at some point between the two objects, and the mass of the two objects were so close in size that either they failed to properly destroy each other (plut/charon system), or enough mass was ejected in the collision to form a new object all together (earth/moon system). If such a cataclysmic event did happen, it's probable that this would have done fairly well to smack the planet's tilt a bit off center.
