Today's description will be short, not just cuz I'm copying it from my reddit but also because I plan to redraw this guy in the upcoming future.

So just so yall be able to compare them with one another once I'm done, today's alien redesigns for my reboot fan series, I give you Ben's Aerophibian form: JetRay

They are space/water bases species of manta ray like humanoids, that range somewhere between 5.5 feet (170cm) to 6.5 feet (200cm) in height and have a wing span twice their body. They mostly survive by hunting, with their main power being their neuroshock ability.: They are capable of doing that becouse of a special substance within their hollow spines as a sort of bone marrow. But within the hollow spines, there's this gas compound called "neurospina essence" that is highly reactive to the bone marrow. What happens is that when they use their "laser muscles" that stretch form the back of their skull all the way to the tip of their tail, they put pressure to the sides of the spine, so that the bones can release chunks of their spine marrow that then mixes with the Neurosina essence and creates a blast of energy that travles up their spine to their skull, where it exits through their eye lenses that absorb the energy on one side and focus it out on the other side, creating laser like beam that serves as their main hunting method or defense against their natural predators.

Design wise I tried to make him be biologically more manta/sting ray based, so I gave him those big tusk like parts that mantas have, wich serves as some sort of tuning forks that sense the vibrations, thus giving him some sort of echolocation, for an easier flight performance. They've also got these big lungs that can either filtrate oxygen from water or can store that oxygen within for maximum of 7 hours for trips to space.

Tho my version of the lore is quite different, it still is inspired by TheInkTank's newest And Beyond episode, so please go check it out if u haven't done that yet, it's a great piece of work!
