I love the concept and how you used hatching in some places for the shading.
Only thing that I have wrong with it is how flat his form looks. Part of the style, I'm sure, because I know that you can do folds.

I wasn't really going for flat but that's okay this is my first time drawing like this. Can you tell me why it looks flat to you, so I know how to try and improve on it?

You have the folds in the clothes (Which is nice. I like how the folds reflect the glow.) but he sorta needs the clothes to fit more to his body. Here he just looks so flat. He needs his waist to go in, and his muscles in his legs need to be more defined. Just make his anatomy more prominent with his clothes clinging to him a little better.

Ah! Now I totally understand what you mean! Yes, that was indeed the style... I hadn't intended it to be flat but !! this explains why I had such a hard time trying to shade it realistically!! Eureka~

Oh Limbo, where to beginz??
First off, YOUR LIGHTING KNOWLEDGE IS MOST HOT!!! Seriously, you have such a good manipulation of lighting effects. You 'know' where the light will play off of his body and the glowing affect you add is so skillful. And the background!! That just completes the piece so much!! It's a genius idea in the first place and you carried it all the way through with the entire composition. Both the foreground and the background compliment each other but don't out-show the other. It's just a wonderful piece where all the elements fit together perfectly. I am so proud and amazed. I mean, I know your talented but it's just wonderful seeing it. LOLOLOL!!!

Oh wow- jeeze 
I love how this is not anime, and how it takes me back to the memories of reading some of those 90's abstract comics from sandman to Squee/JtHM. I really love the thick lines and the lighter lines in his clothing, giving him a kinda carved look (to me) Only thing I can say is that his eyes look too eastern for my own liking, but understanding the artist comment made me only giggle at the way Danny is leering out at us. X3
