latest painting, just in time for xmas... or winter solstice if you prefer... even with a bit of correction in Corel the colors still don't translate precisely... the blue isn't so blue and there's actually more of the pale, pale yellow through the center top of the painting. oh well, from what I've heard, according to the philosophy of my alma mater if the photo doesn't do the painting justice you've been successful...yay me...!!!
oil, acrylic, wood stain, paint marker and oil pastel on canvas.

thank you cher... funny thing is if I think about it I wouldn't say there is anything overly special about how I work... as a matter of fact it can be a rather drawn out, mundane, haphazard process.

thank you, like I said, colors are not quite right, there's even a bit more of a dull red in the bottom section as well... I've shot this several different times already and so far, even with a bit of editing, this is the closest I've managed to get to reproducing the original. despite my bitching I apprecxiate your comment and am glad you like the painting.
