i remember your shadow method from the drawing of N, you have no idea how much time that's saved me! you're a genius for telling the world about it.
also, on a related note, what size canvas do you use normally? your work always comes out so clean and crisp and i'm jealous >.<

You'll have to clean the scan. Search some tutorials for it.
