Aw, Hartigan is my ultimate favourite character from Sin city... though I realised, while re-watching the movie, that I had a soft spot for marv... made me want to read the comics again!

the size of the whole image I used for making the tutorial was 5000 on 10000 px. the rawing itself was around 1300 on 2000! then I reduced the whole thing, but it was hard getting the whole thing right so that the picture wasn't too big either! phew!

I think its an education problem. In fact, those people are not stupid, they are just like you and me, but they weren't taught to read in between the lines, and no one has ever taught them about sarcasm. Here we call that second degree (literal translation, I don't know if that's what you say too). As you say, there is a big brainwash problem here. It's really a shame.

but yea i guess, i think that if the yunger ones "over there" would learn about how we "free" ppl live, they in many cases would want to be like us. but thats just what i think. i think that it would be mostly women that would want it to

I totally agree with you... Don't get me started on the veil that subject can get me so angry! I live in switzerland, and a lot of saudi Arabia come during the summer. And sometimes, it's like 35° and I'm wearing a short top and a skirt, and I see those women, with those stunningly beautiful faces, all dressed in black, behind those metal bars that cover their faces. Boy, I always feel so sad for them...
