No one can use this apart from me.These are my greatest pixel art, I'm especially happy with the beach one! The colours work really well I think.
These are only some of the battle backgrounds, I'm planning on doing more.

I love these. lots of people have had the idea of using a picture instead of the plain ol' circles on the ground, but somehow they just don't look right. however, the way that you've done it, incorporating the circles into the picture, really looks a lot better in battle scenes like the ones you've posted.
Some suggestions for other backgrouns you could do would be:
A sky/cloud one (you have a sky ROUTE after all)
A sea one (you have a beach one, and one UNDER the sea, but none on the sea. e.g. when surfing or fishing)
A snow one ( i see you have an ice cave... thingy, but no snowfield-esque background)
INDOORS (you have an URBAN background, but lots of pokemon battles take place inside)

These definitely should've been used in the games. Adds much more detail and depth to the gameplay.

Oh man, I'd love to use these in my comics....but I have the respect to ask! I'll change them in no shape, form, or way, they'll just be backgrounds if you allow me to use them. I promise i'll also credit you. May I use them? I know it says no, but I'd just like to ask.

Wonderful landscapes 
One thing: on the 11st lanscape isn't better that rays of light are more intense than on 9th(because this water is less clean, not for the dirt but the colours)? :3
Always the 11st lanscape, the sand is similar on the 7th, but with added of ligh blue 'cause of water on the sea. If you put this ligh blue, add the "shadow" of light as a reflect if the sand is near to the surface of the sea. (see at the swimming pool as a example)

I totally fell in love with the second one from the right in the last row (yellow-ish one). It looks like the grass has a blue shimmer and that is absolutely gorgeous <3

I love the backgrounds Also one thing I'd like to point out to people who plan on copying this,check the background,notice any combees? Yes so he has them secure from thief. I completely understand why he doesn't want anyone to use them, I would be so angry if I spent ages on a background and then claimed it as theres.

Kyle > Gamefreak. Okay well, I admit the PokΓ©mon games still look pretty good, but it baffles me how the battle backgrounds actually looked better in the 3rd and 4th Gen games than in Black & White. And one would think battle scenes would be one of their primary focuses when developing the games since, ya know, the players spend about half of their gameplay time in combat. I think they could've easily made the backdrops full 3D while still maintaining their "appeal". Much like you did here, just in 2D.
