"Fooom!"

Who's that Pokémon? It's Cyndaquil! This is my 155th model, so I decided to make the 155th Pokémon! Though I don't normally draw attention to it, I do keep track of how many models I've made, so each one has a number. For years I've thought it would be fun to create a model of a Pokémon with a model number that matched its Pokédex number, but it's taken a while for the numbers to align with a Pokémon that I wanted to make. Cyndaquil has always been a personal favorite of mine, however, so when I realized I would soon be making my 155th model, it was clear that the time had finally come!

Cyndaquil stands about 4 inches tall and, like most of the Pokémon models I've made previously, he's based on his three dimensional appearance in games like Pokémon GO. It was tricky to figure out how best to create Cyndaquil's fiery spines, as well as how best to keep him standing upright despite his hunched-over pose. But I'm incredibly pleased with how he turned out. As my 155th model, Cyndaquil is looking all fired up!
