Here is a statue I sculpted, cast, and painted for Dreamworks Animation Fine Art. It measures a little over 12" tall and 10" wide. It was quite a project, requiring input and approval from Dreamworks Animation.Related content

They will be pretty expensive, I think $500. The only people who have seen it is family, people at Dreamworks, and Dreamworks Animation Fine Art, it is great to finally be able to share it with other fans, and hear what everyone thinks!

Yeah, my pictures really don't do it justice, I am hoping when Dreamworks Fine Art list it, they take better pictures! Then you should be able to decide if you really want it!
It was very time intensive, from concept to finished product, I would say just over a year, during the summer months the work slowed, and waiting for Dreamworks approval took time (many many changes!).

I looked into shipping, and it turns out to be around $250 dollars to ship to the UK. With the statue and packaging, it weighs 17 lbs. It is up for preorder at bigbadtoystore.com, they may ship internationally and cheaper. You may want to check it out. Let me know if you have any luck.

Great! The official site will sell them wholesale to stores and galleries. Bigbadtoystore will be getting a few from the first batch. May is just a placeholder, it should be sooner, but they don't have them yet, that is why it says preorder.

That is very kind of you to say. It is exciting, this is my first officially licensed sculpture I have done. At the moment I am producing them in a very limited (but unset) number, for DreamWorks Animation Fine Art, they carry, as you could guess, art based off of Dreamworks Animation movies, selling them on their site, and in galleries around the world.
It is a very exciting first step!

well, knowing the size of the statuette, the certainly +50hours you pass on each one, sound an honest price

i'm not a sculptor, but i can easily imagine ( pretty sure your spend over 50h by statuette ^^)

It helps to reduce time if I make them in batches. So when I am mixing colors, I just make larger batches of colors.
