Operation Dugout

This poster depicts the 101st Airborne in the cold & brutal Battle of the Bulge, as they fought to hold the line in the Ardennes Forest of Belgium. With one last desperate push by the Germans to gain ground before their inevitable downfall, allied forces dig in on the front lines to defend against the assault. In this depiction, the players are defending their foxholes against an oncoming offensive as the wind blows snow and mortar strikes begin to fall. Also featured is the classic 'Willy" Jeep near the treeline and center of the image.
