I used to have a yard full of box turtles. They are very friendly and where never shy with a yard full of people.

Thanks! Seems like I remember getting bitten by one or two when I was younger...I was always catching little critters.

I've never been bitten, but I'm sure they pack some power in their bite.
My father used to stop his truck while at work and take them from the middle of the highways before they got hit and take them home. The yard we had was huge and we had a whole colony of them living with us. The more people in the yard, the more curious they where.
