Description
The big what if...what if, in some remote jungle in the Pacific, there lurks prehistoric beasts. Forgotten by time. Startled by an unfamiliar noise and foreign object along side the routine scavenging path. For me, WWII seems to be when when man's timeline really begin to hit a new era of technology and machinery. I wanted to do something where an object of that "modern" technology interacted in some capacity with a long forgotten creature in our history. An apex predator of the modern skies (Mitsubishi A6M Zero) meets an apex predator (tyrannosaurus rex) of terra firma. In a way, I find myself still imagining the way things were in the past just as equally with amazement as I do with things to come in the future.

This digital painting was done in photoshop and took a considerable amount of time to get some of the detail aspects.
