Wow, I've been inactive here for a while. Sorry about that! Online stuff just hasn't been my main concern as of late, I guess.Anyway, this was done for my independent study art class last semester. No real thought was put into it, but don't tell my teacher that. xP I'm usually hesitant to put traditional media pieces on the 'net for some reason. But, that's mostly what I've been doing lately, so I might as well upload something.
Also, though I don't intend to work on this piece any further, any helpful criticism for future works would be greatly appreciated!

Tools used: Watercolours and white acrylic paints

I do find however that the background could have been done in more detail, although I really can't talk because I practically don't *do* backgrounds..

Hey, you don't have to be a chef to know when the food sucks! xD The background gave me issues, I admit. I reworked it so many times I thought I'd paint right through the paper! But, I'll definately take your suggestion into consideration for next time. :}

I really loved this pic on the art show. The use of both the sky and the desert ground within the figure is beautiful, as is the painting as a whole. Mind if I use it as a desktop? I can denote owner-ship if you want, even though I don't plan on distributing it to anyone.

Oh wow, this is gorgeous. I always think of quicksilver for some reason when I see images like this, with the red desert and blue sky. I love how the creature, or spirit, or whatever it is, is leaping from the rock itself into the sky. It looks like it's just going to float away once it's totally clear of the stone. Beautiful.

You're alright. You made my heart stop for a moment though, since I've had this happen.. twice before? Maybe just once... There was one piece I decided not to upload since I found a piece similar to it on the internet a while after I'd finished it. x_x;
But I really see the similarities, now that I look at it... I even have a desert background, too. I guess I have a bad habit of unintentionally creating similar pieces of work of other artists? xD
Any similarties were purely unintentional though, I assure you.

This is an absolutely amazing piece of artwork, and a unique concept as well. I really like how it all flows as one, and especially the reflections on the wolf/coyote? creature. This one would make a really nice print as well.

I'm really not too sure. I love elemental creatures and I draw them every now and then, but none of the things I draw, I feel, are unique enough to share. I'll definately keep that theme in mind next time I work on something, though. :}
