you know what i hate about cell phones, that when you are a cashier at a restaurant...the stupid customers come up in line talking on their phone, making you wait while they talk about their crap and hold up the line. And then they get mad when the cashier interrupts their call as to get the line moving.

I agree completely, especially with the phone + driving bit. It's almost as bad as people who reach under their bloody seats whilst driving, and then look down because they can't find what they're looking for. I've lost count of how many times people on cell phones have pulled out infront of me and whoever's driving...
And text-speak just plain sucks. Most phones have auto spelling nowadays which find whole words after you input one letter, so it's actually fast to write properly sometimes.
I don't even have a cell phone... where ever I go, there are public phones anyway, so there's no need. It pisses me off when people say "I can't live without my mobile phone!"
People suck... but you get a fave!

My goodness, people these days...I'm only almost thirteen. In class, the least you could do is either turn it off or silence it. I mean, COME ON! You should NEVER text when you're driving. I text, but I have unlimited. I use grammar, even when I'm texting. It's not so hard to spell out words on a cell phone. XD I mean, that's NONSENSE! Crazy people will do this now. Cell phones are for communication. Nothing else. WHY CAN'T PEOPLE GET THAT THROUGH THEIR THICK SKULLS?! Oh, you drew funny pictures. I like 'em!

at first i thought that by ditching texting I'd be missing out, but seeing as the only reason I've used a phone for anything but talking to someone was that my calculator was missing and I had math to do, I realize that texting is just another meaningless facet to an already over-complicated device.
