I'd like to point out that some silly moo cows do not have a high typing speed like some of us, in their case it does save time to type IDK instead of i dont know. what is really annoying in computer usage is when people dont bother to add periods or at the very least start each sentence on a new line instead of the period. but i have a friend who does that adding a new person to convo thing. sometimes they just put the phone on speaker to make it easier to talk to all people at once! as for me i usually try to make interrupting phonecalls as short as possible or, as you said, excuse my self for a bit. so yeah im not a total moo cow but i doo have games on mah cell phone so i definitely am part bovine.....

Toootally! I got a cell phone for my birthday and had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do with it. Now I just text my mom to tell her where I am like...once a day. I don't even use that weird text messaging 'speak'. This is a total fav.

Amen, especially to the bill part! XD; I've ran up both a $200 bill (calling outside the country) and a $247 bill (calling AND texting my friend). XD;; But my dad took texting off my phone and I've been much more responsible, calling-wise. 8D;

I only pay $65.00 a month for mine, and all my features are free, but I'd be damned to talk/text while I am driving, it makes me insane as well. ><
And as for the other (#5 & 6) person conversation and talking in class (even though I graduated in '98), I agree with you full-heartedly.

I hate cell phones. Well, maybe the way most people in my school use em. The only reason my mom has one is for emergencies, like calling 911 after a car crash or something.
But people are so obsessed with em now. One of my friends got grounded and had her cell taken away, and she was so upset and angry. I said to her, "I don't even have a cell phone and I'm alive."

In spanish people use texting too, and sometimes I had to spend several minutes trying to work out some text... that makes me feel like a dumb, but I'm not the dumb...

Texting and driving scares the crap out of me, because my ex was texting me while I was driving down Randall Road (And I know you know how busy that road is XD) and he was like yelling at me for not texting him back, so I had to pull over in the commons just to text him back to shut up x_x;
