Description
Drawing her power from the light of the sun, Amaterasu needed that light in order to maintain her powers. Her demonic captors apparently had known that, and had taken special precautions. First tightly bound with ropes, even her tail firmly bound to her legs, she'd then been stuffed in a heavy sack, which to her shock was then filled with some sort of clay or gel, fitting itself perfectly to her body. Tying the sack shut, the demons had allowed whatever it was she was encased in to dry, leaving her with no motion, not even a fraction of an inch, in any direction. The strange substance, or perhaps the bag itself, must have been infused with dark materials, preventing so much as a glimmer of light from reaching her body. It was a hopeless situation.

By turning her head slightly, Amaterasu could see the similarly "bound" feet of another wolf, knowing that two more were also on this cart bouncing along the unfinished road. Only ordinary members of their species, the goddess could sense their terror as they lay helpless, leather hoods covering their entire heads, leaving them sightless and silent. Her own hood at least had an opening for her eyes, but it was too small to allow much light, the remainder of the leather tightly fitted to her jaw and neck. What did her captors wish her to see? And why were they being taken anyway? Unable to even struggle in her encasement, the heavily packaged wolf remained unaware that she had been earmarked, literally, at three times the value of everything else in the wagon. It would have been little comfort.
