Madame Fawn had given and would likely always give eerily accurate prophecies. They didn’t come cheap, but when Amaterasu had felt particularly lost she’d sought out the old fortune-teller in the ancient forest. However, one day the old woman had said something rather unusual. Her instructions, which the goddess still had some trouble believing, were to go out into the woods, find the biggest tree she could, and tie herself up. The wolf had literally stood there for several moments until she realized Madame Fawn was serious. What could she do anyway? So she’d handed over the money, wandered out into the swampy forest, and located a monster of a tree that could probably be seen for miles. Then, with some trepidation, she’d called on the power of Bloom and wrapped it tightly about herself.

The Brush Technique had delivered, vines appearing from nowhere to ensnare the goddess. Instantly she'd been hog-tied, left on her back with all four paws bound together in the air. Vines had snaked around her body in a harness that pressed in on her, while a pair of vines had run to her mouth to join in a tough melon, forcing her mouth open. A few extra vines around the muzzle, and the divine magic stopped, leaving the wolf in compliance with the prophecy. Still, what would happen now? Would someone come along and take her to her next adventure? The vines around her tail and between her hind legs would prevent misfortune if said newcomer was a male wolf or a kitsune, but they rubbed oddly. Amaterasu hoped this prophecy would resolve itself quickly, before she got bored.
