The ancient human stood over Oki as he tested out the multitude of overlapping restraints, tapping his foot impatiently. "Once I have taught you the necessary techniques to slip out of any peril, you will possess the ability to escape even the most dastardly confinements and traps. But I cannot teach you if you do not maintain focus! Listen to me, Oki! This training will not be simple, and you would be foolish to think otherwise. Place all your skill and intelligence at my disposal and I will shape it into something useful."

Oki personally was finding the old man grating to say the least, and he highly doubted that any demon, warrior, or misguided lover would wrap him in lots of belts for no reason at all.
