"I say, what?" Lechku told his brother as they hovered over the snowy platform. "Those two ruffians did get what was coming to them, eh?" They both looked down at the unmoving pair of wolves on the stone before. The white one, Amaterasu, had already attacked Nechku, while the blue one, Oki, had been determined to assault him. Of course, while Oki could toss ice around with abandon, and Amaterasu had swathed the battlefield in explosive fury, neither could stop time entirely. The twin owl demons, on the other hand, could. With their attackers now prisoners in the stream of time, it had not been difficult to find various chains and such in the mechanical wonderland that was their home. Clasping manacles about their paws, the owls had released the wolves to a new imprisonment.

Nechku flapped steadily over the couple as Oki stirred, his considerable strength nowhere near enough to burst the chains he was wrapped in. He didn't remember how he'd ended up on top of the goddess he'd fought alongside, or how he'd ended up chained to her. Neither could speak either, having been subjected to some fiendish metal constructions over their mouths and faces, their unknown origin not hiding the fact that they could silence both wolves easily. "I do wonder what we are going to do with these chaps," the demon bird added in reply to his brother. "Well, well. Nothing to do now. Spot of tea, then?" And with that, Lechku and Nechku fluttered away, leaving the chained goddess and her warrior companion atop the bare, windy tower.
