Angel, Archangel and Cherubim wing designs.Angel
Really just bird wings pasted onto a human body.
Archangel
Highly impractical, decorative wings. Mainly for show.
Cherub
Two sets of conjoined wings with eyes that stare out from within the feathers. Purposely intimidating as cherubim are sent down to earth to put the fear of God into human beings. Note cherubim also have four heads and cloven feet.
Next I will draw Throne (which will prove difficult
) and Seraphim wings.

I love these designs - they actually look like something which might legitimately lift a human-type form into the air. The Archangel is probably my favourite on this page, because it gets just the right amount of drama into the pose - it's the picture of an angel that will remain on the back of my eyes.
