Description
This is my Togainu no Chi fangame, incomplete because I got bored half wayThis is purely for my friends ~Pippin4242 , ~nazlando and =supercat001 (sorry your character never made it into the game, supercat!), but if anyone else enjoys it, then all the better!
Click the little red triangle to continue
This is the walkthrough (because it brakes if you choose wrong):
1 Look for friends
2 "Let's go look for him"
3 Go with Motomi
4 Punch / Duck
5 Kick / Roll
6 Run
When it fades to black, the music will continue playing but the game is over.
Also, I don't have a preloader, so you'll probably have to sit in front of a white screen for a few minutes whilst it loads.
Oh, and the music is from a royalty-free site!
Togainu no Chi characters (Motomi, Arbitro, Kiriwar and Gunji) (c) Nitro+chiral

I can't wait until you get to really let rip on this kind of project one day. Great work, and you know it.

Really good... few things that would of made it SOOOO much better... although i never sit and play these so you done a good job at keeping my attention all the way through.
Look for a Actionscript code that writes letter by letter until all of the sentence is written. Will look more fluid this way and save you a TON of hassle by animating the pausing.
Secondly if you had a Actionscript that allowed the watched to just press enter or something instead of clicking the Arrow which didn't stay in the same place (which was annoying).. either that or just make the whole screen an invisible button so you can click anywhere.
Thirdly maybe draw some of the backgrounds to fit the anime feeling.
Overall it was really well written and the nature of the conversations is what really made me keep going. Good job!

Thank you for the feedback, those are some really good points!
I guess I didn't complete this game because of similar annoyances, by the time I realised it could be done better, I'd already done way too much to go back and change it.
The good news is that this was really good practise! I'm thinking of making an original game, and I'll be sure to take your suggestions into account when designing it!
