Alucard from Hellsing (2001) and Dante from Devil May Cry (2007), very similar shots, ne?Don't get me wrong, I adore both anime! I wonder if Madhouse watched Hellsing before making Devil May Cry, or was it merely a coincidence? It's funny how they both have two guns and they both have names for their guns:
Alucard - Joshua* & Jackal
Dante - Ebony and Ivory
(*I'm aware Joshua isn't it's real name but I'm going to go with that for now)

The DMC Anime wasn't all that bad. It could have been better. I expected so much from it, that's probably why I wasn't too crazy about it. I thought it was going to be more of a backstory on his life, but sadly, it wasn't. And I've only seen Hellsing once. Never got the chance to see it again. Hot picture btw. Very hot

devil may cry anime was terrible, he didnt do anything like he does in the games. Where are the demons being lifted into the air with a cushion of bullets?

Yeah, I didn't like the anime so much either, the monsters were off. They should have included more of the enemies from the games.
His personality was a lot different too but I guess that's the same from game to game anyway. DMC3 he's cocky and arrogant, DMC2 he's silent and moody and DMC4 he's back to being cocky and arrogant once more. It's still one of my favourite series so I'm not going to stop playing them just because of a few minor inconsistencies
