Bio:
Peril is the Kitvoren equivalent of a dedicated police officer- or firefighter, to be exact. He enjoys doing good deeds and bringing criminals to justice, and he's damn good at it, too. Barred doors in burning buildings and destroyed flights of stairs are no problem for Peril's strength and size, able to destroy most human-made obstacles that might be separating him and someone who needs help. This dedication and grace in his assignments has earned him a very high reputation in and outside of his area of work; and while he adores the attention and praise, he knows better than to show it.

Background:
Peril was created some time after the downfall of the creators; the exact how/when/why is unknown to him. But it doesn't matter to him much, either, so he's never bothered looking for answers. He survived for most of his life by a simple motto: keep moving forward. This mantra eventually lead him to the western coast of the US, where he settled down for a while to enjoy the beautifully warm climate.
He'd only spent a few months there when raging wildfires began and he quickly learned that this place may not be as peaceful as first thought. Though Kitvoren are very resistant to heat and can heal burns quite quickly, Peril wasn't going to sit and let himself cook alive, and so he began to relocate. On his way away from the fires and further north he discovered families and houses right in the path of danger, everyone desperate to get out and away before their livelihoods were burned to the ground.
This didn't immediately cause him to become a justice-seeking warrior and fire-fighting hero, but it was something he often thought about until he gave in to curiosity and went back to see the damage for himself. Among the ashes he found several unlucky souls, human and wildlife, who didn't make it out in time. He decided then to at least sweep through abandoned houses to make sure no one was being left behind. He would camp out near human neighbourhoods he believed would be evacuated soon, wait until everyone left, and then rush through the houses quickly with flames on his heels.
On one lucky occasion he found a fast-asleep woman who lived alone and didn't realize there was an evacuation. Although she was obviously terrified at first at the sight of Peril, he quickly got her to safety. The gratitude he received was addicting and searching for more of that feeling, he continued to patrol at-risk neighbourhoods during wildfire season.
Years after that first incident, he met another Kitvoren who described a similar job being done by humans called fire-fighting. Peril rushed to the nearest city and demanded to be part of such a team, and the rest is history.

Fun? fact:
Seeing the charred remains of animals and humans during those first few searches left Peril a bit sick to his stomach. He vowed to not eat animals anymore (not even knowing the term for 'vegetarian' at the time) but realized very quickly that hunger made him overly-violent. He decided to just cut back on meat instead.
