Even though these aren't the best profiles I've ever drawn, they get the point across. |D;
Not very much to say about this, I think it mostly speaks for itself ;;; I mean… ohhh, if you can't read my handwriting I'm really sorry. I have terrible handwriting.
Oh, and as for the 'do no do this' example, it's based off the most common mistakes I see people make. Always the nose too big, always the eyes placed wrong… eyes aren't so hard as people make them seem. D:

Ah yes, that is a difficult position… I often find myself looking for refs for it too |D
I've been meaning to redraw this tutorial anyway so maybe I'll include something about different head angles, but in the meantime I can suggest alternate sources for learning.
Yuumei's Head Perspective Chart , has come in handy for me multiple times
Reicon's Head Tilt Compilation , potentially even more useful than yuumei's cause it has more angles and is realistic rather than stylized

If I get some free time soon, maybe, but until then here are some references for you:
x x x (I find Kimidori, the green-haired girl, especially helpful)
From these you may observe that wavy hair is best constructed out of not a bunch of individual strands of hair, but big sections/clumps/what have you. I hope that helps somewhat, sorry I can't be more useful. |D I'd mostly just suggest looking at existing pictures and trying to figure out why they look right, and also practice a lot.

As for a hair tutorial, I am not well-versed enough in the Naruto style to be able to make one. I would assume, though, that it's mostly the same as other anime hair, so maybe check other 'how to draw hair' guides? I'm sure there's something to suit your needs. C:

I don't know why, people always seem to make the nose too big and the mouth and chin too small. D: Even not scoopy, but I generally see more ski-jump than not. /shrug/
It's weird… but! it's not hard to learn a new way :D
