Description
This is a super basic tutorial....like, I dunno...anyways...There will be two more parts to this tutorial, and hopefully I can cover everything and get them finished soon. My next part will be 3/4ths view, and finally the side view.
If there's anything I can do to fix this, lemme know.
Again, I don't think I'm much of an expert, and I don't think my skills are good enough to make a tutorial. But I promised you guys a tutorial, and I made one. Hopefully this will help some beginners.

Really, this was helpful. I usually do the "eyes to high on the head' mistake...
Also, I prefer drawing a 4/4 nose on a 4/4 head, even if it's much much harder. It makes my animesque drawings somewhat more realistic, which is what I am aiming for. (I try to blend the good elements of anime with the good elements of realism.) Not saying that you're wrong, just my personal opinion.

I've been working to make my noses a little better for front views, my style has changed a lot this year. (kind of annoying, really, since I end up hating everything I draw when I realize my style looks better later)

I'm the same way with my style. Recently, I tried to draw a shaded not-sketch with coloured pencils without using my regular pencil-to-pen outline, and it makes me shun my older works because it looks awesomish.

Hmm...maybe change your style for each genre (is that the right word?) so it better fits in with that genre. Unless they want you to remain consistent.
