this is a great tutorial : ). im good digital artist, but im trying to get better with traditional stuff then support it with digital, so this was a big help to me. thank you : D

I already am too busy... I'm really sorry I can't send you a note for this, but I want to tell you that this year, I'm really going to be caught up with my studies. I will not give you any assignments unless you ask for one, if that means through her, then that is fine. I will do that... but unfortunately in this world, studies do have to come first. As long as you do not let them drown out your art in the end, and as long as you keep coming back to it when you can, then there is nothing wrong with that. I hope you do well this year. ^__^ thanx for the heads up.

yeah. And thanks for the good-luck wish ^^. I have drawn something just yesterday, and in my opinion it looks pretty good! I think i'll upload it sometime later... it'll be your birthday present! (Sorry for doing it so early)

I already have as many students as I can handle, but perhaps if you request it, there will be someone else. I am always willing to answer anyone's questions and tutorials are for anyone to use if they want. ^__^

Drawing lines or dots on the face doesn't really work for me. It ends up looking awkward most of the time.

I just lightly sketch them... i did dotted lines here to show that they are not permanent.
Also, i have the lines curved, bending to give the feeling of the face comming out toward me... sort of round and three dimentional.
And placing the lines inthe right spot is really important.
If lines don't work for you then try drawing the head, and the ears for reference, then the hair first (don't erase the ears under the hair) and then always make a middle line anyway... real light and it can be sketchy... that keeps things the same... and you can try just eyeballing, using the middle lines and the position in relation to the ears as guide posts. I hope that helps. Nothing works right for anyone on the first try though.

Wow Thanks!! I'm gonna try that!! I've never been able to fronts.That's why I do lots of 3/4 views!! I usually draw in the eyes before the hair...Do you think that'll effect anything?

That is what i have a bad habbit of doing, but I found out that by drawing the hair first, it really helps with the placement of the eyes... because it frames the face> Without the hair, it is easy to space them too far apart. XD at least that is how it was for me.

I was going to say that you were good in my oppinion, wondering what you were commenting about, then I checked the parent. XD
I wouldn't worry about being a good student too much. Easy for me to say, I know, but the truth is that you should be concerned with just learning and being ready to use what you learn in real life sitations, because that is whatmatters, grades are just arbitrary letters that we have been taught to value... they hold no real meaning.
