Thomas's world has given me a sense of wonder when I was just a small child. However, it only grew more when I got back into it and actually started watching the Cgi episodes and the Classic series. I remember watching some classic episodes when I was younger, but I was mostly just watching TATMR a lot at the time.Β It was only until many years later,Β I saw the epsiodes, "The Little Engine Who Raced Ahead" and Philip to the Rescue " that was my final push to get my watch Thomas and Friends. I watch the Cgi first however for a very long while. I think I avoided the Classic series due to the bashing the Cgi series gets from some fans and myself thinking it was maybe over hyped. It was only until I can across a video on YouTube. It was the movie clip from "Misty Island Rescue" when Thomas chased after Diesel to get the logs needed for the Search and Rescue Center. However, the soundtrack and most of the audio was replaced with Classic Series music. I was in nostalgia mode when I heard TATMR music in the beginning, but a certain theme really caught my attention. I learned later it was "The Runaway" theme from the Classic series of Thomas. I think it would be safe to say from the first season. Anyways, I couldn't stop listening to this theme. I decided to listen to more of the Classic Era's soundtrack, and that led me to watching the Classic Series. I found myself being a kid again and watching these gems for the first time. I love both the Classic Era and the CGI Era. Both have good and bad moments. I don't like comparing the two eras. It seems wrong to do that. It is like trying ask me to pick a favorite child. First off all, that is wrong to have a favorite child, and secondly, I would love my children equally. Both series being me a sense of childlike wonder. In the entire series, Sodor is a place unlike any other in the world. "The Island Song" is a perfect song that captures the childlike awe and curiosity in all of us. From the older fans to the younger generations Thomas and his friends has been telling stories to us for genrations, showing us around Sodor and telling their stories. Even though we can't visit Sodor, we can still go their into our dreams into the beautiful land of make believe. No matter how many fans get whiney about the newer stuff, I am going to keep holding on and keep on hoping the storm will be over soon.

That is fine. Everyone has a right to have their own opinion. I am not sure about season 23 myself, however, I do love "Chucklesome Trucks".

I always thought of drawing something like this, though for me, it would've been with the run by of Thomas with the Mail Train on the viaduct to the other railway...always loved that big moon looming over it!
