This Easter I was REALLLY bored.So I took my pencils and drew. A lot.
Actually, it didn't take me long. Strangely enough, I did this in 3/4 hours of consecutive work, while stopping for snacks, to go have diner chez ~Last-Seraph . This kind of drawings take me a lot less time than, say, my revenge against my arch-nemesis (one of them) ~blint .... and I've been working on it for AGES (nearly two weeks now). Go figure.
This is a picture of Doji Sakura, my Crane character for the RPG and CCG samurai game Legend of the Five Rings. She wound up looking far older than she should.... she seems to be on her 20s, while she should look 17ish..... sigh.... back to the drawing board.

She's gorgeous. I like the look in her eyes, and the hair as well. It is indeed a more "mature" version of Doji Sakura, but it's not bad at all.... I even dare to use a more "common" languange and say that she still "kick's ass"!

You should thank my mom for the eyes. I drew them like she has hers. I'm not kidding. My mom has these amazing brown eyes with little darker slits of colour around the iris... so I decided I wanted one character with pretty eyes like that.

That definatly is an interesting way to shade, makes it very beautiful. Of course the subject herself is rather pretty. Gorgeous work on her eyes, they definatly pull one in.

I'm happy you think she's pretty... I was trying really hard to do her so, however some times, I don't manage what I want. This is not my first attempt at doing a face shot of Sakura-chan, but the other, albeit nicely done, was not as pretty as this one. Gotta keep trying.
