Description
For the first project in my costume design class, I had to design garb for characters from "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde. It was an interesting challenge, cuz we were supposed to try to stay historical with our garments (mine based on the 1860s-ish styles) and I've not done many doodles of garb from this era.I also had to design for the following characters:

i love the balance of dark amongst light colors. you guys should come to my part of town, i seem to attrack the people that love to dress up in costumes for just about anything (i attrack them mostly cause i'm one of'em

The brocade you chose, with the dark wine colored velvet (that's what I picture fot the collar anyway) and covered buttons. . . Totally to die for. I wanna find that brocade now and make one ^^
