I didn't realize until I looked at the pics that I forgot my brooches and other bodice jewelry XD Oops, at least the dress has beading in it, hehe. I made the flat cap (using a pattern given to me by , which was used by the MRF royal guards), bodice, underskirt, partlet (that I made the night before Faire), and the matching pouch. Oh, I made the lil flat cap on Fuzzbutt (the mink pelt) too, lol! He gets more attention than I do sometimes (he even gets his pic taken, hehe). The overskirt was made by for my Eowyn Coronation inspired gown.I'm currently working on a pair of red velveteen oversleeves and a red velveteen pleated overskirt. It will be gorgeous when finished

Wow - the colors again! You have such a great eye for making colors and patterns just work -- normally, a lot of the Faire stuff I see (mine included!!) turn out just a little tacky most of the time, but yours never seem to be like that~

It's looking good! I think it will look much better with the red overskirt though. That gold over skirt is just too light for the other material, which has a richer gold tone. Love all the new beading. Hey, if you can make a partlet, you can make a chemise dear! LOL! *hugs*

Yeah, I know, but it works for now until I have that finished.
But...a chemise involves bias tape, a partlet doesn't. That's the part I can't figure out

Bias tape isn't too hard. Just follow the directions on the pattern. That's all I did.
What pattern did you use for your partlet? Or did you draft it? I need to make one of those eventually, but I don't think I have any patterns for it.

That was the oooooold Simplicity pattern #9256. It needs larger armholes, needs to be lengthened several inches, and I removed about 6 inches of floofage in the sleeves. I need to make copies of the pattern and alter them a lot to fit me better.
