Description More Spy AU stuff!  This is back before Trent cut Esther’s hair when on the run (I have a messy comic I made about that incident that I need to scan in sometime ) hence her long locks.  Esther wears a lot of graphic t-shirts, graciously bought for her by her father who has a lot of money to spend after stealing expensive art pieces for the rich people who contract him.  Esther just thinks he has a job as a traveling sales executive or something…

The textures are entirely homemade...it's what happens when you get bored taking photos at VBS so you start shooting anything that looks like it would make an interesting texture...and I mean ANYTHING. lol

whoa nice.... an art thief! Those are always the most intriguing. I like learning more about this spy AU... it might be my favorite alternate Maelstrom. (oh, and I really like that shirt. lol)

Thanks!  It seemed like it would be a fun "job" to throw him in. ;D  I was also somewhat inspired by an old 60s Michael Caine movie where he was an art thief who had to work with a ditzy lady--the title escapes me but it was a good/funny film!

Spy AU/80s AU are my faves mainly because there's superpowers and spy stuff in one, and the other is if the characters were tossed into a comedy cop show in the mid 80s. lol

Trenton, even in the AU's, is always up to something fairly zany. lol

Uh oh, it never goes well when a daddy tries to hind he's a criminal from his kid, this is going to be very interesting.

Hmmm, yes.  Lots of skeletons in the closet come spilling out later on...

Yup... not good. And then you have one extremely frustrated child.

That moment when you make AUs for your own stories.
Out of curiosity, why haven't you been putting these in the Bible Amid Worlds group?

It's a fun way to throw the characters in different environments and see how they'd react; sort of like a social experiment but in my head. lol

Well, the 80s AU one has nothing to do with sci fi/fantasy, and what little I've posted of the Spy AU doesn't have a whole lot of those elements either so I figured they wouldn't fit in with the group's theme.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ah. Probably not. I thought that they might have superpowers.

The Spy AU does have a superpowers element, so my question is would it be okay if I just submitted art for that AU to the group?  Or would the pictures have to include people using their powers?  Just checking!

If it's got superpowers, then go ahead and submit.
