Description So here's Jim reading over the manuscript Rosie has written out for the book she's writing about her account of the Diphtheria Epidemic and the Serum Run. I went ahead and used the hairstyle for Rosie from the "Green Eyes" pic ( capella336.deviantart.com/art/… )--had a hard time getting it to look right from a different angle...

I was going for an animated film look with this, hence the minimal shading. I originally did this in color, but couldn't resist the urge to make it black and white (cuz I like old black and white movies and thought it would be a neat enhancement to the picture ).

Nice. Also, can you try writing a few chapters of the manuscripts? I like to see how it is.

I don't plan on writing anything for this mainly because I'm already busy with my comic, but also because I started working on these Adult Rosie fanart pieces (five years ago) because I wanted to throw the spotlight on her and show her story as an adult.  I do have some illustrations in the works (they're pencil sketches, so nothing fancy!), that I'll be posting on Balto Source though!

Your welcome. Do you have plains of doing the book itself as well as the chapters? I like to know what Rosy's thoughts are when she was lying on the hospital bed all those years ago.

Oh, I LOVE this! The black and white look makes it so classy, and I love how you came in on the scene with this perspective. Definitely has that old-movie charm to it. Great work, Cappy!

Thanks! That's actually a perspective used a lot in movies--I had to learn how to frame it the right way when in my video arts class, so it kind of carried over into my art.
