Description These were too darn fun.   Took some random decades from the 19th Century and drew Cornelia and Trenton in the fashions just for kicks.  I never realized how radically different the mens' styles were in the early to mid-Victorian Era until I started looking up clothing from the 1830s-50s for reference.  Whenever I saw fashions from the 1830s and '40s, I kept thinking of Charles Dickens books, like Nicholas Nickleby and Little Dorrit!

I'll get around to the 1820, 1840s, 1860s, 1880s, and 1890s later.

My favorites are 1870s Cornelia and Trenton (which ironically was the setting for Maelstrom in its initial stages!).

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!! You drew them!!!! I love these- all different Victorian fashions that I love!!!  Cornelia looks most flattering in either the Regency era or late Victorian gown, but the 1830's hairstyle is fabulous too- I love the fact it has an arrow through it!
Trenton looks incredibly dashing and dary-esque in his Regency attire and I love a man with sideburns so the 1830s outfit is very handsome indeed!
Definitely my favourite sketchdump so far!

Thank you!  I had a lot of fun researching them, and discovered some pretty nifty websites for old fashions along the way!

I have several AU ideas for Maelstrom (one of them being Regency), so those ones were pretty easy.

The womens' clothing are all so vastly different compared to the men--at least, with the era I chose here--but I think the guys made up for that with their hairstyles.

I feel like Trenton knows he looks good in these Victorian/Regency fashions lol

These are really cool. I love those old fashions. They knew how to dress back then.
