I spent most of yesterday working on this as a banner for my portfolio website and a new addition to my Redbubble shop (I really like how this looks on the mugs--it's a neverending chase!). It’s the four main characters of Maelstrom–Hester (and a shiny Macguffin thingamajig), Trenton, Cornelia, and Ivo! In comic news, I've been looking over Chapter Three's script and edited out two pages that were kinda clunky and didn't exactly speed things along, so we've got about 11-12 pages left before Chapter Four--Hester's intro!
I also cut three pages out of Chapter Three and shifted them to the end of Volume One as an epilogue of sorts, since it'll be a nice little incentive for you all to be excited for events in Volume Two .

Great line up! It gives a good idea of the characters' heights too. I love the look of concern and urgency on everyone's face- apart from Hester's!
The worrying thing is she looks as though she's going to trip and I'd shudder to think what would happen to that orb if she did...
I loooooveee Cornelia's outfit- especially that corset-waistcoat, you certainly design some amazing outfits for her!
Plus I think I'm developing a bit of a crush on Ivo, I love me a tall, blonde, Viking like man in Victorian dress- ticks all the boxes!

Thanks! Hester doesn't have a care in the world, as long as she gets to keep the glowy MacGuffin she stole from Ivo! I wanted to give Cornelia a more steampunk outfit (once she gets used to life on the Firestone, she'll start adopting more practical clothing fit for a smuggling crew 
Ivo's been through a lot design-wise! I definitely like his current look better than what I was originally going to go with for him in the first draft *cringes* Although he's one of the comic's main characters, he won't be getting his own full chapter until Volume 2--but he'll get an introduction in Volume 1's epilogue!

Oh this looks interesting. I wonder what she is carrying. It seems everyone wants it. I'm really enjoying this story and can't wait to learn more about the world and characters of Maelstrom.
