Aww! I adore their mutual expressions of distrust- so adorable!
T: Are you trying to plait my hair?
H: ....
T: Hester?
H: if I say yes will you drop me?....then, no I'm not...*chucks away bow*
I love Hester's pout, it's adorable! And the greens and blues compliment each other really well- Trenton looks good in that shade too, it really compliments his eyes!

They're probably the most skeptical/sarcastic characters in the story, so they give each other sarcastic side eyes a lot!
lol Hester would totally braid his hair no matter the consequences, though Trenton doesn't have enough hair for a braid, but he does have enough for a small ponytail (I loved the scenario you wrote out so much that I had to draw what Trenton would look like if Hester got away with giving him a ponytail...and also with other strange hairstyles ).
Thank you! Β I've found that I've gotten into a rut of drawing Trenton in a lot of rustic-colored clothes for some reason--I need to draw him in brighter clothes more often!

The set-up of your two figures is emotive, and believably positioned. Skillfully done!

I'm wondering how these two end up stuck together.Β
