Description
My 4 year old daughter Ameliana (Mia) and my second drawing back from a 4 year "break" from art (aside from the sidewalk chalk, etc). I will upload a much better version when my scanner is working. The quality is very poor.This is a work in progress, though I will put it down for now & start something new. I need to work on hair & clothing. This will be my new project. Any suggestions are welcome.

Love this. It has a great perspective and is unique too as most portraits I see on dA are of celebrities and movie characters. Great job with the lighting and I like how the paints are shaped like hearts. The lighting in the background also seems to frame her face as well. I do think that the eye on the left hangs a bit low (if you were to put a line underneath both or fold her face in half). It also might need to be turned upwards on the outer corner as well. I'm not good with drawing people, but that sort of popped out at me when I saw this drawing. Overall, great job of drawing something so simple as a girl painting in an interesting way!
