A much-belated birthday gift for of her absolutely awesome OC Aeden!!!I just wanted to thank ~Hamahakkii for being such an amazing friend to me, I can't get over how grateful I am to have her as a friend!
Ahhhhhh Aeden was such a pleasure to draw, he took quite a while to paint of course but the really free pose just came so naturally to me, and overall I'm just really satisfied with how this came out! My traditional paintings are still a little flat and the anatomy's not great here, but still, hope you guys like this. I'm in love with my rough press watercolor paper, gosh~ *-*
And for those curious, the creature with Aeden is a blanket octopus, which I did not at all do proper justice to: [link]

Ahhhhhh, you just gotta keep practicing at it, it's not hard, I swear! To be honest, first time I took up watercolors I got really frustrated with them, claimed they "weren't for me" and didn't touch 'em for a whole year! But then I picked them up again and gave it another shot, and just look at me now. xD Just keep at it, you'll figure them out I'm sure! C:
