I actually like this character. I've seen rants and complaints like "OMG ITS A ALICORN WITH RAINBOWS!1?!! MARY SUE", but I don't really agree. The colors are mild and I like the shade of pink. I see nothing wrong with alicorn ocs and the only problem with them is the problems the ranters make. Thank you for not being afraid of all the alicorn oc haters and posting your character anyway.

Looks can't classify a Mary sue. Its only determined based on the universe the character has been placed in and/or how the world flows around them. Its determined based in a narrative way. Rainbow Splash, is a mural artist, that struggles to maintain her and her cat because of the lack of schools, and ponies interested in artwork.Β

No offence, but this oc seems a bit like a Mary Sue just by the color-scheme and the fact that it's an Alicorn, of course it could be a good oc if it has a good, balanced personality. Maybe you could try making a less...Rainbowy/Alicorn oc next time. Just a bit of advice from a fellow pony fan. XP

Just because she's rainbow and an alicorn doesn't make her a mary sue. A mary sue is an OC that has a perfect design, personality, tons of power and a lot more.
You can only see her design in this picture. I'm not trying to be rude and I'm sorry if I am coming of as rude, but maybe before you say an OC is a mary sue you should look into their personality, backstory and general info more.
