Description
Did a lot more painting and other mods to this. I started with the original, took it apart, and inserted a large, stable metal slot for stability and the magnet feature (no more cockpit). I then went over it with a matte spray coat, and thought it was missing something. So I drybrushed/did some manual work to make it appear more n64/star wars esque, dodging the emblem as much as possible. I had to redo a lot of the details, including most of the side vents, but they look significantly nicer now. I also did super subtle purple panel lining on the blue booster things, and pushed back and glued on the lower blue pieces. This thing went through days of inconsistent work and about 14 different matte coats with paint changes inbetween. At the front of the fuselage there's a chip from it dropping on its nose, which I tried my best to touch up, but I it was almost like a chunk of plastic was removed, when it was only the paint that chipped -- showing me just how thick a coat it was in some areas.

The stand is just custom build from a shortened figma stand with a magnet on the edge, which attaches to the rod previously mentioned. The ass is also bare, so I can attach effect parts as I please.
