Finally, after months of work, I have completed this animation for my visual novel/horror RPG, Patches in VX Ace. This sequence takes place immediately after the demo's prologue, so I recommend playing that after seeing this if you're interested in it (However, it's a lot duller, but with a purpose). It took me a long while to work on the introduction to the game's world and now that it's done, I can focus on the actual gameplay and story for the next demo. It's going to be the second longest and one of the pettiest sections in the game, so there will be plenty for you to do in the next one. I'll try to get up more screenshots as soon as I'm done with lighting and shading the new area. I also plan on re-doing some of the lighting on the old area that will be released in the new demo, so look forward to those, too.

Thanks! I wouldn't call it whimsical, I would call it more so of a surreal feeling, but I can see how one would see it as whimsical. I wanted to make the 'Wonderland' a lot brighter and more colorful than the real world, so I went with as many colors as I could match. I am going to be working on this instead of drawing any other art, so I should be able to get it done sooner. I may have to write a 'sorta' hiatus journal about that soon.
