Ceristrix is slowly starting to take over my gallery.
I haven't drawn the Black Trumper in a while. What has it been...about five months since I last drew him? I can tell how much I've improved since the last time I drew him. I haven't changed his dimension since then and don't plan on doing so. And oh man, the Black Trumper is a lot more difficult to draw the Ceristrix is since he has extra limbs and an abnormal skeletal structure. I'm gonna try submitting at least once or twice a month now that I've started the RPG horror game. I don't wanna neglect my gallery while working on it.

I don't know which one you're talking about, so I'll talk about both.
The Raven is the character's Horror OC Reference: The Black Trumper real form. The character itself was inspired by the Mad Hatter. Other than that, nothing else comes from it. The raven was my own monster creation. It just came to me. I've had this OC for a while and the bird's been redesigned from this. CP OC Reference: The Black Trumper (OLD) It might be because of the redesign that he looks more amazing.
Ceristrix Demon OC Reference: Ceristrix was inspired by the strix from mythology. It's a type of owl vampire. It's an unpopular mythical creature so you probably haven't heard of it until now. I even kept the colours the same like they are in the myth.

On the contrary, I have heard of the Strix. Of Roman origin, the Strix was described as having the head of a woman and the body of an owl. Often it feed on the blood of sleeping people. It's name is Latin, meaning 'owl.' A very intersting choice for the inspiration of Ceristrix

Wow, I wasn't expecting that to happen - I like basing characters off of mythology now. I had to change some of things for obvious reasons. There's a fine line between violent and going too far. It wouldn't have been as interesting if he could just sneak in and kill someone out of nowhere like a slasher.

Mythology is a good source for inspiration, and I like that you went for a more obscure creature. Ceristrix powers are quite intersting, his appearance. Nice little nod you've made to the Strix too, Ceri-Strix. I look forward to seeing more.

I think every artist has their own unique style and that's what brings out the beauty of the artwork. As such, you have your own unique characters that your art brings to life and I love seeing new pieces from the people I watch. It makes me eager to see what beautiful new art they've created.
The detail, the coloration, everything is wonderfully done. I can't wait to see what else you create.

I'm glad that you like me for my unique characters instead of the fan art. I don't draw fanart often because I know that's all I'd ever have watchers for if that's all I did and they wouldn't care about the original art as much. I've got some pretty cool stuff that I wanna work on next month. Hopefully I can submit more often than I am now since I'm getting off of school in a few weeks.
