I am going to draw Rodney. Hard to find a great reference pic of him. I was going to draw him when he passed but I never got around to it. Maybe I'll draw him tonight. I might draw the Gopher too...
I actually saw him once walking to the pool at the MGM in Vegas. He was wearing a robe and slippers and looked 100 years old. I walked right past him before I realized who he was....

yeah i remember that's where he was when he died. i think he had cancer or something. there was a story that before he died he was laid up in a hospital bed and a nurse walked into his room and caught him sparking a spliff. hope he had the windows open and the nag champa burning.

I heard that story. I think he died of brain cancer. I saw him probably 7 or 8 years before that and he already looked pretty beaten. I heard he suffered from major depression. Like a lot of comedians.

yeah that is true. most comedians are most depressed. i guess it's the whole "tears of a clown" theory. this one comedian named richard jenny committed suicide a couple years ago.

Richard Jeni was funny as shit too. I saw several of specials when he first came out. Loved his comedy. Never know what's going on inside though....
