You should see all of them but they can be as frustrating as they are pleasing...I am old...so I saw Eraserhead in the theatre...blew my pwecious wittle mind...

man david lynch looks horrible, and i'm saying that from what the photo must look like. last time i saw a photo of him he didn't look that haggard. man i finally saw inland empire this past summer on cable--DUDE that movie is HELLA WEIRD! his strangest yet! the stranger thing is how i totally got half the movie. it seems like some sort of dream, the whole thing. even the symbolism in it makes sense. you can tell he watches alot of experimental foreign films for him to get his techniques and ideas......what was up with the polish urban legend shit let alone polish soothsayer in the beginning? and laura dern has looked alot better than she has in years. when she was younger she was so cute, then she got older and got real UGLY. as soon as i saw her in this movie i was like, "DAMN! is that laura? she's definitely been eating 3 square meals a day lately".

I thought Inland Empire was brilliant and frustrating at the same time...like with most of his movies...one thing about David Lynch is he challenges you. People always complain about how formulaic american film has become and then when Lynch comes out without something interesting and different they stay away in drives...

that's because americans are idiots, plain and simple. they want everything explained and given to them. this movie wasn't as frustrating as "mulholland drive" was, that shit was God awful! i think he made that movie as an excuse to have 2 broads making out in it.
