Ohhh! Such cute companions. I can just see it: *hop-hop* *shove* *groom-groom-groom*
Beautiful attention to detail, right down to the fur around the noses.

Aww, I love bunnies! This is so very well done! Fantastic job with the hair. I want to draw my bunny, but the thought of all that hair terrifies me.

it's a challenge alright, but with a little practice the results are worth it. try a few sketches before jumping into finished work, it'll boost your confidence.

You are really good at them rabbits, and it's nice to hear that it's for a good cause, the way you render fur really works amazeing and makes the whole piece! Great portrait!

Adorable! Yes, I think resposible pet ownership should be taught in kindergarden, the pet-dumping/puppy-mill crisis has become too far out of hand. Most of my pets have been adopted from people who had to have something, found out much work it was and then just dumped it. the shame is those same people will probably do it again.

i hate it when people do that...or they make up lame excuses like they have to move and poor rover just can't come...he was a member of the family until it was no longer convenient. their parents should have done it to them, then they might know what it feels like.
maybe they'd be happier in the wild.

Unfortunately I guess I can understand the moving part...it was hell for me and my husband to find an appartment where we could keep our cats (let alone the lizards and stuff) And it can happen that a lone pet owner winds up terminally ill and unable to keep a pet...still, the ones that are dumped for lame reasons far outnumber those. My sister once brought home a sweet little poodle; the owners didn't want him because...THEY GOT NEW FURNITURE AND THE DOG DIDN'T MATCH!

i used to have a buddy about a decade ago...he shaved a mohawk into his dog and dyed it green...oddly, the dog didn't seem to mind...but no other dogs would give him a job or let him date their daughters.

I did that once. We colored the dog red with markers and tied balloons too his tail. He loved it.

No it was years ago as a birthday present to the sister of my friend who's dog we painted. Actually it wasn't just red, it was every color in the marker pack. I was confusing memories with the time we wanted to dye the dog with red hair dye but his mom disalowed us.
It's really a shame that he turned out to be such a soggy dick.

So cute. Big softie aren't you, really? (Serpents, demon wonen and dinosaurs notwithstanding)... I have a soft spot for rabbits, too. My sister's just got one; very little and fluffy, it is, and answers to the name of Poppy.
