Twilight is best pony. This took around 16 hrs to make.Had to rush this one because Celestia got denied for the armor contest fav.me/d5qh7yv , since I made it before the contest began. >_<

I like everything but the helmet.Β The crest blocks her horn from view; that looks like Twilight using her magic would be quite difficult.

The crest would, however, protect her horn from swords and most front projectiles she can't stop. It's not about fashion, its about function.

Very nicely done, as well as Celestia and Luna in armor. I have got one question though. Why does sche have Celestia's cutie mark on her armor? Is it because she is not jet a princess and for that reason part of the solar guard? Because later (as a princess) she should heave her own unit with her own cutie mark. But I guess she has to get new armor then anyway because of the wings... Great picture!

What if the changeling invasion and occupation of Canterlot had taken more than one afternoon to end? What if Chrysalis had brainwashed more than just Shining Armor? What if the Elements had to fight to regain Canterlot and free Celestia?Β

I think you really improved in drawing armor, because this is by far my favorite of your designs,
probably because you used more shading to make the armor look more metallic and put in more details
and ornaments. I especially like the crescent sun ornaments around her eyes.
I also really like the idea of having some sort of horn protection, since it is one of the more vulnerable parts of a unicorn and important for battle, though I have to say, that I prefer the horn piece here over
the ones in the Celestia and Luna images, because it offers more protection and is less blade-like
and I don't think it would be wise to use your horn as a means of physically attacking your enemies.
Besides, I think, that you could have left out the golden bulges over Twilight's eyes or made them a bit different (maybe rounder), since they seem a bit like large golden eyebrows this way, which looks a bit comically.
Altogether you did a great job though

Out of all the armors I've seen, none have ever had anything to protect the horn, which is the main weapon of a unicorn. It just felt natural.Β

I like an armor to be a bit intimidating when the person wearing it is so darn huggable, so largeΒ angryΒ brows seemed appropriate.
