I’m building a house with many windows. When the first snow hits them fifty times. We’ll be reunited. I miss you Eun-whan.

The snow has hit these windows fifty times. And fifty times more. And another fifty times. And we haven’t been reunited. If there is a God keeping you. I think he’s keeping you all to himself. How selfish he is.

I still miss you. I cry myself to sleep every winter when the first snow hits the windows fifty times and you still aren’t here to watch it with me.

You said for only three minutes, Eun-whan. It’s been for over three minutes. But you’re not in my arms anymore. How am I to wake you? I bought you flowers…so you could dye your fingernails. And maybe mine too. I don’t care what people say. If it’s for love, if it’s for your love, I’ll do anything.

Whether sad, happy, or hurt. You had always been there praying for us.

That’s what the principal said. But you weren’t praying for them, were you? You were praying that you’d wake up the next day and be able to see them. To see the orphans, your father. The mother who forgave you. Myself…

I miss you Eun-whan. I want you to be by my side again. It was my fault. I told you not to overdose.

There was enough time left. You could’ve read them all with my prescription. Couldn’t you?

You must think I’m selfish. You’re probably laughing at me from the God’s side. I’ll laugh too, only for you.

Do you remember, Eun-whan, you put make up on me and took pictures with my phone. I haven’t deleted them. I still have the ones I took. When you just woke up. They’re precious memories.

Do you remember when we first met? I thought only of getting my inheritance. You remember right? Well, that’s not important now. I wish I still had you instead of the money. I’d give up everything and anything to be with you again.

I built this house just for you. So we could sit up late dyeing our fingernails. Even though you left. You made it to the first snow. Aren’t you happy? It was your fondest wish, wasn’t it? You told me to wake you up after three minutes.

I did. I tried. But you were cold by then. Having left with me, by my side like I wanted. I am selfish. I want you back for myself. Not to soothe anybody else’s hearts. To soothe my own.

You would have slapped me for that. I wish you were here to do it yourself.
